My name is Tess, and I am a midwest based Designer and Art Director. I create engaging on-brand content with a high attention to detail in digital spaces. Currently, I am working as an Art Director at Target.
When I’m not at my computer designing away, you can find me being a ‘cool cat mom’ to my rescue fur baby Gus, searching for homewares at my local thrift store, or planning what I’m cooking for dinner.

June 2022 - Present (Full Time)
I work on the Promo Creative team concepting, designing, and art directing social and digital ad content for Target.

February 2020 – Present (Part Time Freelance)
As a freelance designer I contribute art direction, web design, social media design, and packaging design. In 2020, I helped extensively with the Lasting Smiles rebrand, particularly with digital assets that included website layout and design, social media promotion, and photography.

August 2020 – May 2022
As a Digital Designer at Spectrum Brands, I worked on a wide range of industry leading home and appliance, pet, garden, and hardware brands in the Spectrum Brands portfolio. I contributed email and landing page design, photography editing, digital ads, and more.
Brands: Remington Haircare / Black + Decker Small Appliances / Nature’s Miracle / Cutter Repellants
